Hey,

Just one photo. Assembled and paddled the Great Blue Heron on Saturday taking my son out in the kayak for the first time. Two to three hours on the water were enough for him and for an injured shoulder of my own. Here's a photo I took while lining the kayak through shallows near the first bridge below the Woods Reservoir dam.

As always, the RZ96 proved a stable and relatively easy to paddle, reasonably swift companion. If you get a chance to buy one of these kayaks, I recommend you do. What a great boat.

Hope you are all well,

Chris

Looks nice and you appear to have a nice low cost sail up front. I went through lots of shallows in Ontario when I lived there with my Aerius 2.

We actually did umbrella-sail and my son was amazed that it worked so well. $20 Amazon special sale golf umbrella :) I think the tandem folders are better for kids than spouses. I originally bought the RZ96 to paddle with my wife, but she didn't enjoy kayaking. My son thinks it's great.
