I just obtained a Pakboats XT-17 and am interested in a sea sock, both to limit risk on bigger waters (Lake Superior) and also to keep it clean inside. Are there specific models you can recommend?

Have you asked Alv at Pakboats? (Although he's more of a canoe guy...).

A Feathercraft seasock should fit your kayak - it has been done before. Give FC the cockpit size and they'll send you a seasock.
