The Mokai ES-Kape

Here's something interesting I stumbled accross.... The best way to describe it is as the lovechild of a modular sit-inside and a jetski. It still looks rather like a kayak in places, and it disassembles for transport, so I guess it's topical .

It actually looks fairly fun and reasonably useful. However, I foresee some potential difficulties for solo operation. The main hull section is 85 pounds and the motor section is 100. I suspect that would make assembly on uneven ground a bit of an adventure. I suppose the answer to that is to get 2 of them so you'll have a friend to help with assembly .

That is pretty entertaining. Really like the engine and jet system. Surprised they don't carry a paddle with them... not going to sneak up on too many fish with that engine running.

Very cool indeed. Don't know how this compares with a jet ski, but the price seems fairly reasonable. And they beat you to the punch Dennis:
