Below are links to making a one piece Greenland style paddle and it's take-apart version. Take the time necessary to give them a proper trial, and you may never go back to your 'Euro".

I have a 2-piece Greenland paddle made by Eric Schade of Shearwater Boats. Since I have made the switch, my standard Bending Branches paddle feels funny. My Pouch feels faster with the Greenland, though I have no data to back up that claim.
