I've been using one of those for about 5 years, and it's perfect.

Hello,
I understand that most watches these days run off batteries which at some point need replacing necessitating removal of the back of the watch. This breaks the watertight seal which I believe according to folk such as Casio has to be factory sealed to guarantee water resistance!! This I imagine could be expensive but neccessary to guarantee continued water resistance which after all is why you bought the thing in the first place. I should be interested to hear of anyones experiences on this particular issue. Wonder if you can still buy old fashioned water resistant watches which dont run off batteries so no reason to remove the back for ages!
Regards, Frank.

Not all wrist mounted dive computers require factory replacement of batteries. E.g. My Suunto D3 doesnt. You just buy the seal kit from them. Much cheaper that way.
