Yesterday was a "blue bird" day here in Atlanta so I could not resist a few hours on the Chattahoochee River. It took me two hours to go one mile with almost no paddling. Upriver (3mph current) and upwind (variable, 5-10mph). I think I must have tacked over a hundred times, and enjoyed every minute of it. Nothing exciting, mind you, just the peace of the wind and water.
