Local pick up at 77546, Friendswood, near Houston, Texas. $399.

Shipping is possible, but would cost $212 (as estimated by shippingfrom 77546 to 10001) via Fedex, or $198 via UPS.
Package dimensions are:
#1 36*21*20 inch, 57 lbs
#2 59*13*13 inch, 45 lbs

17' x 3' 1963 vintage FolBot folding kayak, tandem, complete, water tight (no leak), two travel bags (one has broken zipper).

Weight is around 87 lbs assembled. It is very durable and looks like it will last for a lifetime.

The inside white canvas skin had mildew, but has been cleaned three times. Once with 3% hydrogen peroxide, once with 91% alcohol and once with Clorox wipes. It will be further bathed in sun light for a few days. It is otherwise clean and has been wiped down with Clorox wipes.

The skin is made of durable PVC-coated canvas. It bottom had 3-4 superficial scratches, but has been patched with professional waterproof glue and tape. New sacrificial keel tapes have been installed (which are not shown in photos).

Real heavy wood skeleton. Aluminum side tubes.

Has original assembly manual, though it is not well written, in my opinion.

It is dissembled now. I assembled it myself in March 2019 and everything still works.

Payment by regular Paypal is preferred, because buyer (you) can get buyer protection that way, if item is not the same as how seller (I) described it. Or I can trade down for some micro four thirds camera lenses

Buyer can pick it up in person in Friendswood Texas.

I can trade it with a drop stitch tandem or a modern folding tandem.

I also have, for trade or sale, a triple version of Snap On Top modular kayak with 3 yellow sections and 1 red mid section. In good condition.

Will there be interest, if I deliver it in person for $499? I don't know for sure yet, but I may be able to detour from my driving trip from Houston to Boston to deliver it to your address.

I prefer not to do that though, as my car will be stuffed with my relocation items and may not have enough space.

I have this on eBay local pickup in Houston for $399. 6 watchers there but no deal yet.

I’m pretty sure Folbots of that vintage had PVC, not Hypalon, hulls.

Thank you, Michael. I will change it tomorrow (too sleepy now). I read it somewhere but probably mixes it up with laster models. Is Hypalon usually black and grey in color?
