fire at carter lake

there was a big fire at my favorite lake- "carter lake" of colorado. the lake is HUGE, hidden in the mountains, has a great swimming area, marina, and well, it's the most beautiful lake i've ever seen or been to. It was on the news, newspaper, ECT.

Saw something about it in the news. Tried to map quest it to no avail, where is it? I might have to check it out next summer.

It is just 40 mins. from where I live. It's in colorado in the northwest.
