What camera were you using? Your photos look great, while the ones I take look pretty grainy (canon ixus and underwater housing)

Oh thanks, I have a canon with a swivel screen, I'm not sure what model, and I wish I knew how to use it properly.

Simon, I don't know much about your camera, but you should be getting decent - non grainy - pics with just about any camera these days. Check your settings and make sure you are not set at an unusually high ISO or low resolution. Those are the two biggest causes of 'grain' or more accurately digital noise.
