Hello there, I just got back from an amazing first trip to the Danube Delta on my new old Klepper T65...
Here are a few images, hope you enjoy them (and get there someday).
All the best, Calin
PS: I am glad to pass on details and tracks to those interested...

Yes, it was gorgeous...
Hello, I was there for a third time this year, twice this September. These last photos are from late September... first time on my own boat. Went along with friends who aimed only to go fishing, so not too late I ended up going through the Delta on my own. It was amazing, I found some forgotten small channels... The water was high but still crystal clear in the lakes... which meant I was literally going through the canopy of the forest... The pictures do not make it justice, it was so beautiful!
Next year I want to exit to the sea and give my T65 a taste of salty waters... I have big plans for my kayak if he stands well at sea...

All the best,
Calin

Forgot to answer... just a week, altogether... way less than I wished... had to go back to work. My next plan will take about two weeks... I hope I can make it real. I also intend to ask the Danube Delta reserve people if I could be of help in my wanderings (like collecting samples and stuff), this place deserves and needs help from everybody.

Good night, C

Looks fabulous! I hope to do the length of the Danube some day, with that delta being the finale. I highly recommend A.J. MacKinnon's book "Voyage of the Jack de Crowe" to one and all.
