Hi all

I've been looking for ages and finally got hold of a vintage folding kayak. It is a Granta 13'9" double, made here in the UK. I'll have to do quite a bit of work on it before it is usable but don't know when I'll get the chance to do this. In the meantime I'll be reading everything I can and trying to find out more about my boat.

Welcome, Sam. Good to see you here. sub 14' seems quite short for a double. I look forward to seeing the boat some time.
All the best,
Ian

My Puffin 2 was 14' x 28". Capacity was 400 lbs, and I did paddle it up to near that capacity on a couple of occasions. It was a really good expedition single (i.e. carry baggage with me) or good for short outings as a double.
