I have been an avid kayaker for many years (canoes too) . Age and a shoulder injury make it difficult to put my 12 ft Dagger on top of the Jeep, so I am looking to get a folding model. Just now starting to look.

Welcome Kathie. You have lots of options, including a folding trailer (yakima rack and roll) and several inflatables that come close to folding/hardshell kayaks and yet are quick and easy to assemble. That said, most of the folding kayaks are a chore to assemble, so you might want to carefully consider how often you are willing to put one together. But the good news is that you have lots of options!
