Hi All,

Just joined the forum this evening, I'm thinking about building something along the lines of the Victoria Patagonia, if I can find the plans and work out how it all goes together. I don't have a huge house or budget, so a folder on-the-cheap sounds pretty good to me :)

Hello Anthony.
I have my longhaul MkII folder up here in Brisbane. I don't know if there's a folder in Melbourne you can get a look at, but if you are ever in Brisy when I'm home and want to check some details in 3 dimensions you are welcome. Good luck with your project

Rob.

Hi Anthony
My name is Tim and I have a Folbot Citibot here in Melbourne. I would be happy to show it to you and give you a go in it if you wanted. Your desire to fabricate your own folding boat is an admirable one. A mate of mine built his own inflatable packraft here in Melbourne, based on a pattern that looks very much like an Alpacka. We have paddled our boats together on the Yarra a couple of times. You'd be welcome to join us.
Regards,
Tim.
