Mandatory Introduction

Post by broughsuperior »

Hello from sunny (very sunny today) Cambridgeshire, UK.

I am a fan of all kinds of folding watercraft, mainly due to a career spent living in small spaces, so my current quiver is a teeny Folbot Citibot (now out on loan, unsmiley face) a touring iSUP, and a folding sailing dingy. I am hoping to get a slightly larger folding kayak so that my loyal co-pilot (dog) can join me in some river and esturine adventures.

Hope all the forum members in the UK are getting a chance to enjoy the unseasonable Bank Holiday temperatures, and hello to everyone around the world.

Welcome to the group. It,s nice to see more folder owners here in the UK. Yesterday down here in the Scilly Isles there was cloud and early on drizzle, when that passed there was some sun but it wasn,t too hot which is normal for us being so small and surrounded by the Atlantic. Put a visit to the Scillies on your bucket list.

Hi - thanks for your interest, yes the dinghy is a Seahopper Nifty Fifty, the middle-sized model at a touch under 8', now sold under the 'Lighter' name. Unfortunately, the golden retriever in the picture is no more, the husky on the paddleboard is yet to experience the joy of sailing...

Thanks, the Scillies sound like a fantastic place to visit and to paddle.
