Hey all...some of you already know me from other another folding kayak forum.

I am Barin, an international school teacher in Venezuela since 2000. I have a 2001 Pouch E68 and a Klepper Aerius II Expedition of unknown age...probably from the 80's. The Klepper has an S-4 sailkit as well.

Though interested in sea kayaking since the mid-80's, I am originally from New Mexico, being landlocked and one of driest in not THE driest state in the USA, it was hard to justify a sea kayak before, therefore I've only been paddling since the spring of 2001 so everytime I am in the cockpit I learn something new.

Other interests: I've been an avid bicyclist since 1978 and a mountain biker since 1986, so I am much more proficient at that. I have also discovered that I enjoy fishing from the Klepper.
