Considered simply putting this in the Coffeehouse, but thought this might be a bit more fun. Question: what is the fastest type of sailboat (that doesn't "Foil", that is)? Answer: an International Canoe. Or, at least, that is what I have read. Faster than any multihull. From what I gather, these things have been around since the 20s or 30s. In any case, enjoy the clip:

So... any suggestions about how I can apply these technologies to my A-2?

Chris,

I feel your pain, er, desire I mean
I hope that you like going for a swim and that you wear a wet suit:

The big challenge will be to adapt that sliding hiking plank to a Klepper. Fin keel would be nice too...

Chris I laughed when I read your second post. That was funny.

WE are so close though... ha. 5.2 meters long, about a meter wide... all we need it 10 sq. meters of sail and a board to climb out on... what's the big deal?

Maybe that new Keel from Long Haul will do it. Ha. Did you see the size of those booms?!

Thanks for those links. Pretty cool.
