One came with the Java I just purchased. It is a downwind only and I have been using it quite a bit. Still prefer paddling my hardshells, especially when I want to go far and deal with headwinds and currents. I have not been out in anything over 10-15 kts and seems I paddle faster than sail, but it is quite enjoyable.

Welcome to the fold Chuck. We're going to need to get you into an upwind sail next. :P

Any kind of upwind sailing would be with a sailboat. I had a sail with a K2 that was pretty fun too.

So you're planning on joining the Passat club, Chuck? Or do you have your eye on one of those Ukrainian Ducky catamarans?

Thanks for the posting. I like the ice on the kayak and gloves.
Just came out of Ontario myself, Missanabie. Sailed a Folbot Super. Took in a wood stove and large tent, lots of gear, computer, solar panels, batteries, etc.
