 Post subject: Dangerous scratches?

Hello all-

I am new to be kayaking world and just bought myself and my girlfriend two sevylor k5 quikpaks. I know a lot of people say Coleman has ruined sevylor but this kayak has gotten mostly great reviews. It has a PVC bottom lining that is separate from the inflating chambers. We took it out to a local popular kayaking creek today (http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5PVzqEcNVp8). We both hit a few rocks, nothing major, but there are some swift rocky parts. The kayaks performed amazingly and seemed to track well. When we got back home I closely inspected the black PVC bottoms and noticed that in several parts, the black was scratched away exposing a white/metallic type plastic. The scratches are only a few cm each. Is this something to worry about and is it a hole waiting to happen? I had heard that this PVC was pretty durable so I hope it's not already compromised. Thank you all!
