I loaded one of my Sonnets onto the new Triumph Sprint today to test how well this
smaller bike would handle the load. I packed the boat and everything else needed for a
day's paddle into the soft bag with the take-apart Greenland paddle strapped to the
outside in a PVC paddle bag. Total weight was about 40 lbs .

That leaves the other 3 hard bags free for packing with non kayaking gear while
touring. The winds were gusting up to 45 mph in some areas but the bike felt stable and
handled the twisty mountain roads well. The Sonnet bag looks big because the bike is
small.

No paddling yet as the lakes in this area are still frozen.

An earlier pic with the Triumph's hard-bags removed. The Ducati belongs to my son.

The Sonnet would fit nicely on the back of a KTM.... Double your "Adventure" :)
