Hi !

The Folbot Assembling Instructions pamphlet, says in Step 4:

"The leeboard can be rotated into four different positions around the fixed flange."

But it does not say how. :?: The flange indeed isn't riveted to the board, but I could not move and rotate it.
Ideas are welcome.

Thanks

First, make sure that the leeboard is properly locked on the aka via a snap button/pin. Then, you should be able to swivel the leeboard with some gentle force upwards or downwards.

Unfortunately I don't think they mean rotate from starboard to port, or visa-vie. :?
I think they mean in the water, pointed aft, pointed up, pointed forward, and so on.

Cap'n is right - it can be rotated around the thwart, but not moved from one board to another.

Kaypak - once and again somebody is asking this same question. You CAN"T rotate it until it is fixed to the thwart and the thwart - to the boat. You simply don't have enough "fulcrum", - point of rest. Assemble the boat with outrigger, and you'll be able to rotate it more than you want. Look at the flange against the light - there is a circular groove with the spring-loaded ball inside.
