Phil Cotton has an improved deck for the G II in prototype form, being tested by a guy in Vancouver, BC. Andrew has posted some photos of it on the Folbot Forum. Worth checking out ir you have a G II. Photos and text are here: http://folbotforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=10190#10190

This deck uses Cooper-style coamings and standard hardshell-style sprayskirts, so that the oval openings allow easy access/exit for surge beach landings and launches. In addition, the deck is made from a heavier, more durable material which Andrew says does not degrade or leak.

The G II has needed something like this for years (at least 10, in my opinion). It makes the G II a much better wilderness boat.
