Just joined and need some help
I purchases a Folbot Greenland ll from my local Goodwill store (yes I grabbed it fast and it was a deal and a half ,maybe). It only had 3 or the 7 polycarbonate ribs/cross-frames (2,4,5,)

No problem I can buy them from FolBot
Well Surprise, Surprise, Folbot is no more.
Plan B: find someone with a G2 who would let me trace there 7 polycarbonate ribs/cross-frames. Then I would make new ones out of 1/2in, HDPE
Also, I could then post the tracings with a scale for others to use
I live North of Chicago (Deerfield) (please check members list for email) so if anyone could help out it would be much appreciated,

Since the Folbot company maybe “Never More" it would be best to work together building replacement part than waiting to cannibalize boats that have died

Good luck with your search. There are enough Folboters here that someone will respond. I did this with my Feathercraft Kahuna a few years ago with HDPE and a good jig saw. A definite improvement. What a find too!

I'm west of the city - Elmhurst.
Unfortunately, my GII is new enough it has all aluminum crossframes.
If you're creative enough, you could copy my crossframes dimensionally in whatever material you're comfortable with.
PM me if you're interested.
Meanwhile, if there's anyone around here with an older GII, speak up. It would be easier to trace or copy the poly crossframes.

Your best bet could be to head south where there will be numerous older G2's (Not the attendees) at the Flamingo Flotilla this January in Florida. :D

Sorry, I do not get to Chicago often, and never with a GII. I will be at the Flamingo Flotilla with a polycarbonate-ribbed GII. Making ribs seems a daunting task. I recently bought a beater GII off Craigslist just for parts! Someone on eBay had been parting out a GII, including ribs. I saw ribs for sale a couple of days ago but I do not see anything there just now.

Hi there,

Realise it's a while since you wrote your message but we have a similar age GII if you'd like us to trace the cross frames?

We have all the parts of our GII but I've noticed a few bits are looking worse for wear so figuring out how to make replacement parts sounds like a great idea!

Let me know if we can help,

Not sure if this request is still active. I am parting my G2 and still have the 4 cross frames that you need. Please PM for details if interested.
