The outrigger is now there, it fits into a mast set up with inflatable pontoons.

Hello Folding Kayaks Forum's readers,
I ordered a Wayland amazon Expidition II, 1 month and half ago... And I still not acquire it !!!
I'd like to know if anybody here, encountered a problem with an order with Wayland Folding Kayak ? Is it a loyal and honest boat's producer ? Or is it only a delay like they told me !? A very long delay, about twice time limit !

Thank you for your testimony

william MARIE

Hi William,
Where are you based? I've read both good and bad reports of Wayland. If you do a search for Wayland in this forum you will find the threads I refer to. I have not bought from them myself, but the impression I received from reading others' reports was that they mean to provide good service, but that they sometimes take longer to get things to people than expected and there are sometimes difficulties with international shipping and extra charges (import duties or whatnot). There are others who have been delighted with their service and good value.

Sorry not to be more precise, but it would probably be better for you to read the threads yourself. My advice would be to contact them directly and perhaps by phone so that they can inform you about the status of your order.

I read on this forum today that they have a new agent importing into the UK, but that is probably of little use to you if you live elsewhere.

Good luck with your order.

Hi Willy Nilly

You don't say where you are, but we do not think that you are based in the UK. I would suggest that you contact whomever you placed your order with again (via email rather, as they are still working on their english) and ask for an order update / parcel tracking number if there is one.

As Ian has pointed out, there have previously been problems with international shipping (especially when sending out of the EU region), where some unforseen glitches have cropped up, but we do know that orders are acted on quickly and dispatched within 21 days.

We hope that your order shows up soon!
