Re: Passat
Hello Chris,
The mast I have is in really good shape measuring 18' 7" overall. It appears I am looking for a sail about 15' on the luff.
I now have two booms; the sail I just got has a boom. The booms, mast, and sail I have, while not a match, neither is a Gunther. The booms and mast have that slot that holds the sail rope. That is a 3/8ths inch rope sewn in the sail. The Gunther is different. I'd trade this sail and boom for a correct sail but warn anyone, the sail leech is rotted. I think it could be repaired.

Re: Passat
I have an extra Passat main and jib as well as frame parts I am willing to sell. They need cleaning and some TLC. The bolt rope on the main needs to be reattached (sewn) to the sail. I am also willing, when the weather is more conducive, to lay the sails out and take measurements and pictures if there is an interest.

Re: Passat
I'm interested. How much are you asking for the jib and main sail? Are they cotton or dacron?

Re: Passat
Ref. Rainer's March 20 post: there used to be a page listing all of those boats. I think it was on Faltbootbasteln, but not certain, and now I can't find it. Does anyone know where it is?

Re: Passat
The list of boats is based on my Klepper brochures and Klepper catalogs (and on http://www.faltbootbasteln.de/fbb-sonst ... boote.html). Completeness is not guaranteed!

Re: Passat
Hello to the Forum,
I tell a sad story, I lost my Boat when Hurricane Sandy came to town. Four years later and I'm still rebuilding.
and boat-less. Now, I found this form, and my hope are sailing again. I love the klepper Passat, and can't wait to get one. I
have followed every lead to no avail. I ask that if anyone here can help me in my quest to be a Klepper Captain, to take
a moment and respond. Thanks in advance for any lead you might have.

The best way to get a Klepper Passat: ask Markus Heise!
