Can you give me your opinion on this Aerius (about 1978). There he has visible flaws? Is a 35 years + of Aerius reliable?

It looks beautiful. Are you able to look at it in person? Check the frame hardware and the condition of the hull? Is there a sail included?

I'll second Chris on that one. What a beauty. How's the price? This looks to be about as clean as you could hope to find one.

It's sell with mast in alu (S4) but without sail :( But it's come with 2 safety jacket, troley and Spraycover for about 700 €. I think i can find the sail later, and it seem's to be correct. I can't go to inspect it but i have more large picture... It's risky but i think i'll try it :)

As you will get the mast you could buy a sail from a different source which might be a better sail than a klepper S2.

Well, the announcement looks to me like a scam .. I ask for more pictures and it was impossible ??? And the seller was German but had to be payed in England, it does not look too honest ! Too good to be true :( I continue to seek :)

Was the boat in England? Whereabouts? And where are you based?
Just curious. If it was near me (Cambridge) I might be able to go and look at it for you.
700€ does sound rather cheap for the UK.
All the best,
Ian

I think you are smart to listen to your instinct. If he's not explaining what the situation is, up front, then look elsewhere. I've been burned on an eBay purchase in the same price range (product was not as presented and required welding to repair-- seller turned out to be in a similar dispute with another buyer, also).
