Well, I complained and got a refund of a couple hundred dollars. I ended up paying about half the cost of a new 165. I think that was fair.

It's hard to say. There are so few used ones on the market, I don't know what their value is. They do get beat up pretty quickly--stringers bent, hull punctured, etc. I'm still pretty unsure, although I probably could sell the boat for what I paid. I don't think I overpaid.
