Thanks for bringing that experience to us Chuck, truly remarkable. Any chance I could get a copy of that pic of you with the whales in the (near!) background? Do you know who owns it?
If the folks in Alaska think that experience is cool, well, just imagine what us flatlanders think!

Chuck, was that you out there? Unreal! Makes me think of lottery tickets. 67 outings are better for getting a close encounter than 1 or 0 outings. Congratulations! BTW, if you (or, indeed, the other Chuck) was paddling a folder rather than a hardshell, the folding kayak industry could have been kickstarted back into business!
